Features
Intelligent Control. The Series 15i /150i boosts the performance of your machine tool with versatile, intelligent control functions such as Fine HPCC to control complex tool paths at ultra high speed and precision. Nano interpolation enables high precision, in nanometer units, and 5-axis NURBS interpolation.
Functions such as tool offsets and work coordinates to support a wide variety of 5-axis machine configurations. (1) Rotary Tool Type, (2) Rotary Table or Trunion Type and (3) Mixed type of axis configurations are supported. This includes machining on a slanted plane. "Mixed Type" 5-axis configuration consists of both cutting tool and work piece being mounted on their own rotary axes.
Open System CNC. The Series 150i incorporates Fanuc Intelligent Terminal, equipped with PC functions and an LCD display, or a commercially available Windows®-based PC through a fiber-optic cable (HSSB), which enables Windows®-compatible software and development environments.
Ultra High-Speed PMC and Compact electric Section. PMC executes machine sequence logic at speeds of up to 0.085 µS/step. The state-of-the-art hardware technologies not only decrease the size of the CNC control and the I/O module, but also reduce the electric section by replacing up to eight traditional cables with a single fiber optic cable.
