Absolute position mode supported by Alpha, Beta and Beta i Series servos when used with optional encoder battery.

Advanced machine control using incremental/absolute and rotary/linear programming modes.
Local Logic program handles high speed logic and I/O decisions synchronous with the position loop update (DSM314 and DSM324i only).
Gear follower or cam follower axes can be configured to follow an encoder or virtual (internal time-based) master position reference.
Flash memory simplifies firmware upgrades.
