After a machine has been in production for a while, users often find new requirements for it. These new requirements may simply be a desire to improve productivity or perhaps even to make different types of parts than originally intended. Fortunately, GE Fanuc planned for your future by providing a CNC that is easy to upgrade. We have pre-engineered CNC options that were not originally provided by your machine tool builder, as well as new features that may have been developed since your CNC was manufactured.

  • Memory and communications features for improved storing, editing and handling of part programs.
  • New interpolation functions, special cycles, macros and graphics for enhanced programming productivity.

Please have the following information available to help us identify the configuration of your control when you contact us so we can respond more quickly to your request:

  • Control type.
  • Control serial number.
  • Name of Machine tool builder or machine rebuilder.
The first two items are available on the factory "DATA SHEETS" printed when the control was manufactured. This is several sheets containing a list of parts, options, factory parameter settings, software versions, serial number, date manufactured, etc.. This document is very important and should always be kept with the control for future maintenance support.
